1. Scope
HorizonL helps users organize, analyse and track projects with writing, financial forecasting and research features. These terms govern access to and use of the platform.
Additional rules may apply to subscriptions or the affiliate program. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
2. Accounts and permissions
Users must provide accurate account information, protect their credentials and report suspected unauthorized access. Project access depends on permissions assigned by the project owner or an authorized member.
Anyone inviting collaborators must ensure that the invitation is appropriate given the project's content.
3. Ownership of project content
Users retain their rights in content, data, analyses and documents they submit, subject to others' rights. Users authorize HorizonL to host, process, display and share that content with necessary service providers solely to deliver requested platform features.
Users must have permission to upload documents and any personal information they contain.
4. AI outputs and professional review
AI-generated assessments, forecasts, writing and recommendations may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. Users must review outputs before sharing them with lenders or relying on them in decisions.
HorizonL does not guarantee funding or eligibility for any program and does not replace legal, accounting, tax or financing professionals.
5. Acceptable use
Users must not bypass permissions, access another person's project without authority, upload malicious code, misuse the platform unlawfully or deliberately overload the service.
Features may be temporarily limited to maintain the security and availability of the service.
6. Availability and changes
We strive to offer a dependable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Technical updates may change features; we will provide notices about material changes when required.
7. Access, export and closing an account
Contact support@horizonl.ca for help accessing or retrieving your data, closing an account or requesting deletion.
Deletion requests are assessed in view of shared projects, backups, other people's rights and legal obligations.
8. Liability and governing law
The parties' rights and responsibilities are governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude legal warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to mandatory legal provisions, the terms are governed by the laws of Québec.
